Mikko Lätti kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 19 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Kurinmäki IFK's Rikhard Tuominen fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julius Andersson in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eetu Pursiainen saved Kvarnbo FC from getting behind. Eetu Pursiainen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rikhard Tuominen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julius Andersson took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eetu Pursiainen. Eetu Pursiainen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rikhard Tuominen in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eetu Pursiainen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rikhard Tuominen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th match minute, Kvarnbo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikko Lätti to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the match, Kvarnbo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rikhard Tuominen came free, but Eetu Pursiainen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rikhard Tuominen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julius Andersson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eetu Pursiainen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 51 minutes of play Kurinmäki IFK's Tommi Teräs was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 52nd minute, Tommi Teräs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Salomon Skyttä sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isko Tuomisaari in the 57th minute of play forced Kurinmäki IFK's goalkeeper Elmeri Kaitainen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salomon Skyttä received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Elmeri Kaitainen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isko Tuomisaari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elmeri Kaitainen having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Kurinmäki IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Salomon Skyttä came free, but Elmeri Kaitainen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute Isko Tuomisaari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elmeri Kaitainen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
