Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rikhard Tuominen started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 4 played minutes Hästö got a freekick which was hit by Konsta Kokkonen. In the 5th minute of the match Viljo Wesslin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joakim Lätti showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Joakim Lätti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rikhard Tuominen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute, Julius Andersson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kurinmäki IFK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Arvi Sairanen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Elmeri Kaitainen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Julius Andersson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joakim Lätti. Hästö's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julius Andersson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Konsta Kokkonen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hästö's supporters rose to their feet, but Konsta Kokkonen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elmeri Kaitainen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joakim Lätti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julius Andersson in the 23rd minute of the match. Konsta Kokkonen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute Rikhard Tuominen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joakim Lätti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julius Andersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joakim Lätti having to interfere. After having played for 36 minutes, Konsta Kokkonen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hästö's supporters crossed their fingers, but Konsta Kokkonen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38th minute, Konsta Kokkonen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Rikhard Tuominen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With 46 minutes on the clock, Heino Raninen commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hästö! Hästö:s Joakim Lätti showed great skill when he stopped Viljo Wesslin:s penalty. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Julius Andersson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joakim Lätti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Arvi Sairanen kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The Hästö supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Kurinmäki IFK's performance. The match ended with a win for Kurinmäki IFK.
