Eerik Ruisniemi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matti Hagelberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The audience was convinced that Mikko Vallin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Harri Vilmunen was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Pinomäki Horses's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antto Haapaniemi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 67 minutes into the game, Matti Hagelberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eerik Ruisniemi. Matti Hagelberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Raatajat's Harri Vilmunen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antto Haapaniemi in the 73rd minute of play. In the 81stth minute of the game Mikko Vallin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Raatajat's Harri Vilmunen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sami Ollonen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harri Vilmunen having to interfere. After 89 played minutes Pinomäki Horses got a freekick which was hit by Tapio Mikkonen. In the 94th match minute, Pinomäki Horses was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tapio Mikkonen to maneuver through the defense.
