If Joona Vesanen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, TNT's goal looked a bit too open when Voitto Lähteenmäki came free, but Arttu Halminen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. LA Murica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

TNT's Arttu Halminen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esko Enola in the 55th minute of play. A collision led to TNT getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Leevi Lampi hit a great ball. Joona Vesanen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Joona Vesanen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joona Vesanen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toimi Pakaslahti having to interfere. Toimi Pakaslahti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oiva Rimpilä in the 70th minute. When Joona Vesanen came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the TNT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joona Vesanen couldn't finish the play. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Paul Ojanen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. LA Murica's Toimi Pakaslahti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save LA Murica from getting a goal against them. TNT's Paul Ojanen got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, TNT's Toimi Pakaslahti threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joona Vesanen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Joona Vesanen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Toimi Pakaslahti came out and tried to block the shot, but Joona Vesanen slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 85th minute. In the 90th minute, TNT's Joona Vesanen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. The audience was convinced that Voitto Lähteenmäki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arttu Halminen was relentless in the 98th minute of the game. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. TNT had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
