Spectators: 7315 (Terracing: 5815, Seating: 1400, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Launo Martikainen kicked off to start the match. After 4 played minutes LA Murica got a freekick which was hit by Taisto Kankaanpää. If Esko Enola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 10 played minutes Puistokadun Predators got a freekick which was hit by Kim Pasoja. When LA Murica's Esko Enola in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Puistokadun Predators's goalie prevented a goal. Ahvo Kalto charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ahvo Kalto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to LA Murica getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ahvo Kalto hit a great ball. LA Murica's Toimi Pakaslahti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vesa Lumio in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Puistokadun Predators's Launo Martikainen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Toimi Pakaslahti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vesa Lumio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Toimi Pakaslahti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. In the 25th minute Voitto Lähteenmäki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jori Puurula saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind LA Murica's goalkeeper Toimi Pakaslahti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Esko Enola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ahvo Kalto hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. LA Murica's Toimi Pakaslahti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Launo Martikainen in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Jori Puurula took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esko Enola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jori Puurula didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Voitto Lähteenmäki went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 68th minute, Kim Pasoja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Toimi Pakaslahti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vesa Lumio in the 70th minute. After a rather tough play, Puistokadun Predators's Kim Pasoja got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute of the match Taisto Kankaanpää shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jori Puurula showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ossi Järventie kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After having played for 81 minutes, Esko Enola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LA Murica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esko Enola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 85 minutes in the game, Launo Martikainen fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Toimi Pakaslahti having to interfere. Vesa Lumio struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Toimi Pakaslahti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Puistokadun Predators. Esko Enola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Jori Puurula tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
