Spectators: 6913 (Terracing: 5110, Seating: 1788, VIP seats: 15) Raatajat's Taisto Raukko started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Matti Hagelberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Jori Puurula tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Puistokadun Predators's goal looked a bit too open when Taisto Raukko came free, but Jori Puurula reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th match minute, Raatajat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iiro Malmivaara to maneuver through the defense. When Ossi Järventie fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Puistokadun Predators's protests and gave Ossi Järventie a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th minute, Ossi Järventie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jori Puurula showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taisto Raukko in the 21st minute of the match. Harri Vilmunen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vesa Lumio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matti Hagelberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Kim Pasoja fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Puistokadun Predators's protests and gave Kim Pasoja a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Puistokadun Predators's Kim Pasoja got a free kick in the 27th minute. Harri Vilmunen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Launo Martikainen in the 30th minute of play. Launo Martikainen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Harri Vilmunen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 39 played minutes Puistokadun Predators got a freekick which was hit by Oliver Kolsi. Launo Martikainen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th minute, Oliver Kolsi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Harri Vilmunen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Launo Martikainen to strike the kick off in the second half. If Vesa Lumio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vesa Lumio got free with Harri Vilmunen in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Taisto Raukko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jori Puurula having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matti Hagelberg in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jori Puurula saved Puistokadun Predators from getting behind. Taisto Raukko struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Jori Puurula didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Raatajat. In the 68th match minute, Puistokadun Predators was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliver Kolsi to maneuver through the defense. In the 70thth minute of the game Matti Hagelberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Puistokadun Predators's Jori Puurula was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 71 played minutes Puistokadun Predators got a freekick which was hit by Juha-Pekka Nielikäinen. Jori Puurula stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Taisto Raukko's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Timo Pakarinen struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Jori Puurula didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Raatajat. In the 78th minute, Taisto Raukko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Raatajat fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Harri Vilmunen made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Vesa Lumio sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Vesa Lumio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Puistokadun Predators's supporters rose to their feet, but Vesa Lumio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harri Vilmunen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Launo Martikainen in the 86th minute of play forced Raatajat's goalkeeper Harri Vilmunen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Hannes Kukkonen fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Raatajat's protests and gave Hannes Kukkonen a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Raatajat's Hannes Kukkonen got a free kick in the 87th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
