To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Tuomas Pentsinen fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Kilpi's protests and gave Tuomas Pentsinen a yellow card for diving instead. Tuomas Pentsinen hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Voitto Tervo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaakkima Saastamoinen in the 14th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Kilpi's zone, Päiviö Repo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Voitto Tervo came out of the goal and Päiviö Repo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Voitto Tervo didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Nissi's Jaakkima Saastamoinen shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Päiviö Repo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aatu Pettinen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marko Nikkinen in the 30th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Kimmo Hakanen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aatu Pettinen having to interfere. Voitto Tervo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaakkima Saastamoinen, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaakkima Saastamoinen in the 63rd minute of play forced FC Kilpi's goalkeeper Voitto Tervo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Voitto Tervo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaakkima Saastamoinen, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The Nissi players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented FC Kilpi from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
