Sulho Kauppinen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juhana Vestman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sulho Kauppinen in the 39th minute of play forced Tervik FC's goalkeeper Juhana Vestman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Sulho Kauppinen sped through Tervik FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Juhana Vestman. The audience was convinced that Sulho Kauppinen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juhana Vestman was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. The wind increased when Sulho Kauppinen made the kick off in the second half. Juhana Vestman came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Menikkala IFK's Arttu Joensuu. But to his dismay, Arttu Joensuu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 55th match minute, Menikkala IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ale Myllykoski to maneuver through the defense. When Kim Penttilä came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Menikkala IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kim Penttilä couldn't finish the play. 60 minutes into the match, Tervik FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kim Penttilä came free, but Juhana Vestman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juhana Vestman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kim Penttilä, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kim Penttilä fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juhana Vestman having to interfere. 71 minutes into the game, Menikkala IFK's Kim Penttilä nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juhana Vestman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0.
