Jari Meltoranta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Voitto Tervo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Voitto Tervo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jari Meltoranta in the 6th minute of the match. Ilmari Hiukka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Voitto Tervo having to interfere. 8 minutes into the game, one of FC Kilpi:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jaakkima Petriläinen shot the penalty kick right outside the post. FC Kilpi's Voitto Tervo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jari Meltoranta in the 13th minute of play. Jari Meltoranta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Voitto Tervo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Northern Villa FC's Arttu Riippa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Northern Villa FC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kimmo Hakanen got free with Arttu Riippa in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marko Nikkinen kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Ilmari Hiukka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Voitto Tervo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 27 played minutes Northern Villa FC got a freekick which was hit by Elias Kiuru. After a rather tough play, Northern Villa FC's Anselmi Hotakainen got a free kick in the 39th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kimmo Hakanen got free with Arttu Riippa in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marko Nikkinen made a kick off. In the 51st minute of the match Eerik Koistinen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Voitto Tervo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Voitto Tervo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jari Meltoranta in the 52nd minute of the match. A collision led to FC Kilpi getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Torsti Setälä hit a great ball. Voitto Tervo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ilmari Hiukka in the 57th minute. With a little luck, FC Kilpi's Voitto Tervo got control of the ball when Ilmari Hiukka tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Ilmari Hiukka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Northern Villa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ilmari Hiukka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Voitto Tervo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Through an outstanding action, after 67 minutes, Voitto Tervo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Arttu Riippa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marko Nikkinen in the 75th minute of play. If Kimmo Hakanen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Northern Villa FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Jari Meltoranta hit a great ball. In the 84th minute, Jari Meltoranta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kimmo Hakanen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Arttu Riippa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arttu Riippa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kimmo Hakanen in the 93rd minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
