Ylermi Ahonen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Kuisma Ripatti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Päiviö Repo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Kuisma Ripatti made a huge save. Veikka Leppänen hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Jaakkima Saastamoinen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Kautiala FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Rauli Huttunen hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, Päiviö Repo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Kuisma Ripatti, passed just outside the right post. 27 minutes into the match, Mikael Pikkarainen notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Nissi's Aatu Pettinen. Aatu Pettinen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 31 minutes into the match, Kautiala FC's goalkeeper Kuisma Ripatti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Päiviö Repo. In the 33rd minute, Jussi Eklund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th match minute, Kautiala FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antero Heino to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Päiviö Repo got free with Kuisma Ripatti in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jaakkima Saastamoinen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kuisma Ripatti having to interfere. When Päiviö Repo came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Nissi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Päiviö Repo couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Kautiala FC's Kuisma Ripatti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Päiviö Repo in the 54th minute of play. Kuisma Ripatti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaakkima Saastamoinen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, Kautiala FC's Paavali Haarala dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Aatu Pettinen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paavali Haarala, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 65thth minute of the game Mikael Pikkarainen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nissi's Aatu Pettinen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Kautiala FC fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Kautiala FC's Mikael Pikkarainen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antero Heino in the 71st minute of play forced Nissi's goalkeeper Aatu Pettinen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pasi Sanevuori hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Paavali Haarala charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paavali Haarala the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kautiala FC's Kuisma Ripatti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Päiviö Repo in the 78th minute of play. The supporters of Kautiala FC booed when Nissi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rauli Viljamaa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th match minute, Kautiala FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rauli Huttunen to maneuver through the defense. After 86 played minutes, Nissi's Rauli Viljamaa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kuisma Ripatti came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nissi reached it. If Päiviö Repo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mikael Pikkarainen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Nissi supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Kautiala FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Kautiala FC.
