A wasted opportunity for Majuri. 8 minutes into the match, FC Suntti's goal looked a bit too open when Uoti Kuuttinen came free, but Hannu Hakaniemi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Timo Hakanen got free with Pietari Puutio in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Eero Lahtinen fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Suntti's protests and gave Eero Lahtinen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th minute, Valdemar Kopola ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hannu Hakaniemi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Marko Meltoranta kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Hannu Hakaniemi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdemar Kopola in the 23rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Uoti Kuuttinen in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hannu Hakaniemi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the FC Suntti defense, Uoti Kuuttinen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hannu Hakaniemi. The FC Suntti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hannu Hakaniemi should have stopped the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valdemar Kopola was the one to do the kick off. Uoti Kuuttinens short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Hannu Hakaniemi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in FC Suntti's zone, Uoti Kuuttinen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hannu Hakaniemi came out of the goal and Uoti Kuuttinen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hannu Hakaniemi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdemar Kopola in the 60th minute of play. Timo Hakanen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Pietari Puutio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68thth minute of the game Aaro Puhakainen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Majuri's Pietari Puutio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Suntti's goalkeeper Hannu Hakaniemi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aaro Puhakainen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Pietari Puutio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Suntti's Hannu Hakaniemi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdemar Kopola in the 75th minute of play. Hannu Hakaniemi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdemar Kopola, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. If Aaro Puhakainen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Uoti Kuuttinen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hannu Hakaniemi having to interfere. Valdemar Kopola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94th minute, Uoti Kuuttinen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Majuri fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. When the match was over Majuri could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Suntti throughout the match.
