Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Valdemar Kopola started the match with the kick off. 12 minutes into the game, Uoti Kuuttinen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jarno Koivunen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Eelis Kauppila sped through Majuri's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pietari Puutio. With a little luck, FC Psyduck's Jarno Koivunen got control of the ball when Uoti Kuuttinen tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 24 minutes, Paul Laurila mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Psyduck and the Majuri players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Psyduck's Paul Laurila got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 26th match minute, FC Psyduck was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Laurila to maneuver through the defense. Pietari Puutio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eelis Kauppila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, Majuri's goal looked a bit too open when Eelis Kauppila came free, but Pietari Puutio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Majuri's Elias Huuhtanen got a free kick in the 33rd minute. When Eelis Kauppila came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the FC Psyduck fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eelis Kauppila couldn't finish the play. Jarno Koivunen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdemar Kopola in the 36th minute of play. After 37 played minutes, FC Psyduck's Unto Alin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pietari Puutio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Psyduck reached it. Eelis Kauppila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valdemar Kopola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Jarno Koivunen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Eelis Kauppila managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Psyduck's supporters rose to their feet, but Eelis Kauppila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pietari Puutio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pietari Puutio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reijo Lähteenmäki in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Valdemar Kopola got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jorma Poikolainen hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eelis Kauppila was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Majuri got a freekick which was hit by Nuutti Nikkari. Valdemar Kopola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th match minute, FC Psyduck was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eljas Kangasalusta to maneuver through the defense. Jorma Poikolainen hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Jarno Koivunen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valdemar Kopola went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After 65 played minutes Majuri got a freekick which was hit by Kerkko Poikolainen. If Valdemar Kopola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eelis Kauppila's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pietari Puutio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Jarno Koivunen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdemar Kopola, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. FC Psyduck's Jarno Koivunen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdemar Kopola in the 77th minute of play. Uoti Kuuttinen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jarno Koivunen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Valdemar Kopola took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jarno Koivunen. Jarno Koivunen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 89th minute, one of FC Psyduck:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Psyduck. In the 91st minute there was a penalty for Majuri. Kerkko Poikolainen stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jarno Koivunen. 4-1. In the 94th match minute, FC Psyduck was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toivo Rantamäki to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uoti Kuuttinen in the 97th minute of play forced FC Psyduck's goalkeeper Jarno Koivunen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Majuri's zone, Jorma Poikolainen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pietari Puutio came out of the goal and Jorma Poikolainen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Psyduck's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
