Spectators: 7400 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1750, VIP seats: 150) FC Harhelona's Jori Hassinen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Köpböle FC's Harri Palenius sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jukka Ryynänen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jukka Ryynänen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elmer Ranne in the 4th minute of play. Sami Rantamäki's late challenge caught a Köpböle FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sami Rantamäki helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Harhelona getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Sami Rantamäki hit a great ball. Elmer Ranne struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Jukka Ryynänen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Köpböle FC. Harri Palenius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 13 minutes, Elmer Ranne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Köpböle FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elmer Ranne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jori Hassinen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Veikka Multaharju tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jori Hassinen in the 17th minute of play forced Köpböle FC's goalkeeper Veikka Multaharju to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elmer Ranne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hannu Sillgren kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Harri Palenius struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Elmer Ranne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jukka Ryynänen having to interfere. If Elmer Ranne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Joona Lähitie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elmer Ranne made a kick off. Valio Airisto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Veikka Multaharju having to interfere. Jukka Ryynänen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elmer Ranne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Taisto Kirjonen during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Harhelona's Taisto Kirjonen got a free kick in the 58th minute. Harri Palenius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Jukka Ryynänen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Anssi Myllyniemi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Köpböle FC's Jukka Ryynänen threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Elmer Ranne, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 70th minute, Elmer Ranne fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The long shot by Tommi Valtonen in the 74th minute really tested Jukka Ryynänen's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Valio Airisto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valio Airisto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Veikka Multaharju having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Jori Hassinen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Taneli Anttila's late challenge caught a FC Harhelona's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valio Airisto might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Veikka Multaharju. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valio Airisto ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 95th minute Jori Hassinen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Veikka Multaharju saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elmer Ranne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Jukka Ryynänen made a huge save. Köpböle FC were awarded a corner in the 99th minute after FC Harhelona's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Juhani Tuuri took the corner. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
