Hannu Hakaniemi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eljas Kangasalusta in the 3rd minute of play. A collision led to FC Suntti getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Timo Hakanen hit a great ball. Eelis Kauppila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Hannu Hakaniemi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eelis Kauppila in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hannu Hakaniemi saved FC Suntti from getting behind. Jarno Koivunen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aaro Puhakainen's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Hannu Hakaniemi came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Psyduck's Eelis Kauppila. But to his dismay, Eelis Kauppila quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 24 minutes, Aaro Puhakainen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Suntti and the FC Psyduck players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Psyduck booed when FC Suntti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaro Puhakainen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hannu Hakaniemi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eelis Kauppila, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 28th match minute, FC Psyduck was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pär Söderqvist to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute, Eljas Kangasalusta made a precise shot to the right of Hannu Hakaniemi. FC Suntti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorma Poikolainen in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hannu Hakaniemi saved FC Suntti from getting behind. 37 minutes into the match, FC Suntti's goal looked a bit too open when Eelis Kauppila came free, but Hannu Hakaniemi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eljas Kangasalusta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eljas Kangasalusta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Timo Hakanen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aaro Puhakainen to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joni Uusipaavalniemi during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Suntti fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! Hannu Hakaniemi had in the 55thth minute some difficulties stopping Pär Söderqvist's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 56 played minutes Eljas Kangasalusta rounded FC Suntti's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. In the 60th minute, Eelis Kauppila got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 65 minutes into the game, Toivo Rantamäki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Psyduck's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Suntti the free kick. A collision led to FC Psyduck getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Toivo Rantamäki hit a great ball. When Eelis Kauppila came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the FC Psyduck fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eelis Kauppila couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute, Eelis Kauppila got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of FC Psyduck booed when FC Suntti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marko Meltoranta didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Eelis Kauppila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eljas Kangasalusta in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hannu Hakaniemi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Timo Hakanen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Eelis Kauppila managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Psyduck's supporters rose to their feet, but Eelis Kauppila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hannu Hakaniemi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When FC Psyduck's Eljas Kangasalusta in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Suntti's goalie prevented a goal. FC Psyduck's Eljas Kangasalusta got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eljas Kangasalusta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 100 minutes into the match, Marko Meltoranta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jarno Koivunen. FC Psyduck's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marko Meltoranta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. When the match was over FC Psyduck could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Suntti throughout the match.
