Tahvo Pikkarainen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hannes Puikkonen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Veikka Multaharju tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Reko Hannukainen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hannes Puikkonen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Harri Palenius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elmer Ranne's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tahvo Pikkarainen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Uuno Harinen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Veikka Multaharju made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Reko Hannukainen sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th minute of the match Pentti Lundell sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tahvo Pikkarainen skillfully saved the ball. Elmer Ranne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Hannes Puikkonen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Veikka Multaharju. That made the score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Köpböle FC's Anssi Myllyniemi got a free kick in the 35th minute. Hannes Puikkonen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Veikka Multaharju having to interfere. If Hannes Puikkonen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Elmer Ranne might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tahvo Pikkarainen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elmer Ranne ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Köpböle FC booed when PSY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jani Myllylä didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute, PSY's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Harri Palenius fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 58 minutes into the match, PSY's goalkeeper Tahvo Pikkarainen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Harri Palenius. Hannes Puikkonen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aapeli Kuhta got his second yellow card in the match during the 64th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, PSY's Aapeli Kuhta got a free kick in the 65th minute. Harri Palenius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in PSY's zone, Harri Palenius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tahvo Pikkarainen came out of the goal and Harri Palenius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anssi Myllyniemi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tahvo Pikkarainen having to interfere. Elmer Ranne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tahvo Pikkarainen having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, PSY's goalkeeper Tahvo Pikkarainen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Harri Palenius. Köpböle FC's Elmer Ranne was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 81st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reko Hannukainen in the 85th minute of play forced Köpböle FC's goalkeeper Veikka Multaharju to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute Reko Hannukainen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Veikka Multaharju saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90thth minute of the game Elmer Ranne who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PSY's Tahvo Pikkarainen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Elmer Ranne received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tahvo Pikkarainen came out and tried to block the shot, but Elmer Ranne slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 92nd minute. After 96 played minutes Köpböle FC got a freekick which was hit by Elmer Ranne. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Köpböle FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
