Tommi Määttänen, 5 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Uuno Harinen during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 8th match minute, PSY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uuno Harinen to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of NiggaStoleMyPlayas booed when PSY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reko Hannukainen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute, Kalle Martikainen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Esa Luotonen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tahvo Pikkarainen. PSY's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Iisakki Pietilä sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to PSY getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Uuno Harinen hit a great ball. NiggaStoleMyPlayas's Iisakki Pietilä got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Alpo Viander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hannes Puikkonen to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Hannes Puikkonen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PSY fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alpo Viander got free with Tahvo Pikkarainen in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Esko Kunnas hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Hannes Puikkonen managed to get in a good position for a shot. PSY's supporters rose to their feet, but Hannes Puikkonen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Markku Kiuru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Reko Hannukainen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Untamo Karhunen hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Hannes Puikkonen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Hannes Puikkonen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markku Kiuru having to interfere. The NiggaStoleMyPlayas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Markku Kiuru should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iisakki Pietilä in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tahvo Pikkarainen saved PSY from getting behind. After 88 played minutes NiggaStoleMyPlayas got a freekick which was hit by Esko Kunnas. In the 89th minute of the match Tommi Määttänen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Markku Kiuru skillfully saved the ball. Aarni Kanninen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iisakki Pietilä in the 97th minute of play forced PSY's goalkeeper Tahvo Pikkarainen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
