Spectators: 5200 (Terracing: 4100, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pauli Junnila started the match with the kick off. Chupapi Munyayo's Auno Pihkala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pauli Junnila in the 4th minute of play. Auno Pihkala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pauli Junnila in the 7th minute of the match. The supporters of FC Zenit booed when Chupapi Munyayo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sami Alatalo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute of the match Aapeli Viinikainen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Auno Pihkala showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pauli Junnila in the 19th minute of play forced Chupapi Munyayo's goalkeeper Auno Pihkala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Auno Pihkala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pauli Junnila, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After 22 played minutes Chupapi Munyayo got a freekick which was hit by Sami Alatalo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mika Pihlajamäki in the 25th minute of play forced FC Zenit's goalkeeper Joonatan Lindberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tero Esala's late challenge caught a Chupapi Munyayo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tero Esala helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC Zenit's Tero Esala got a free kick in the 26th minute. Pauli Junnila kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Aaro Kuusinen hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Auno Pihkala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pertti Asukka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chupapi Munyayo's Mika Pihlajamäki got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Teemu Santala fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Zenit's protests and gave Teemu Santala a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Zenit getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Teemu Santala hit a great ball. Mika Pihlajamäki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Joonatan Lindberg made a huge save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Mika Pihlajamäki made the kick off in the second half. If Aleksis Viander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mika Kautonen charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mika Kautonen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mika Kautonen kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Mika Kautonen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joonatan Lindberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mika Pihlajamäki's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Auno Pihkala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tero Esala in the 66th minute of play. A collision led to Chupapi Munyayo getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Aleksis Viander hit a great ball. FC Zenit's Aapeli Viinikainen couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 77th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Chupapi Munyayo. Auno Pihkala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tero Esala in the 79th minute of the match. Chupapi Munyayo's Auno Pihkala proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Chupapi Munyayo from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Pauli Junnila kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Auno Pihkala. That made the score 0-1 in the 84 minute of play. Teemu Santala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Auno Pihkala having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC Zenit's zone, Touko Metsäranta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joonatan Lindberg came out of the goal and Touko Metsäranta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mika Pihlajamäki in the 95th minute of play forced FC Zenit's goalkeeper Joonatan Lindberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The FC Zenit players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
