After 3 played minutes Singsby HF got a freekick which was hit by Alvar Kokkila. Marko Enola's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paavali Saarelainen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the game, Sulo Kokkila recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Paavali Saarelainen. Sulo Kokkila showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Sulo Kokkila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Paavali Saarelainen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Leppada FC's Sulo Kokkila dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After 17 minutes, Aarto Tikka made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Leppada FC's Urpo Vihermäki tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 20 played minutes, Singsby HF's Nikodemus Tukio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Urpo Vihermäki came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Singsby HF reached it. 21 minutes into the match, Singsby HF's Aarto Tikka sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Urpo Vihermäki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Urpo Vihermäki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aarto Tikka went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valio Vikström during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th match minute, Singsby HF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valio Vikström to maneuver through the defense. Sulo Kokkila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marko Enola got free with Paavali Saarelainen in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paavali Saarelainen didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 36th minute, which inside left pole to 3-2. 40 minutes into the match, Singsby HF's goal looked a bit too open when Sulo Kokkila came free, but Paavali Saarelainen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 42 minutes, Valio Vikström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Singsby HF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valio Vikström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leppada FC's Urpo Vihermäki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aarto Tikka in the 46th minute of play. Urpo Vihermäki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esko Tallqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

Mika Jussilainen hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Akseli Kouhi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Urpo Vihermäki. Leppada FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Urpo Vihermäki didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 61st minute, which inside left pole to 3-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Marko Enola managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leppada FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marko Enola was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paavali Saarelainen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th match minute, Leppada FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kari Uitto to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 81 minutes, Sulo Kokkila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leppada FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sulo Kokkila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 82 minutes of play, Singsby HF's Esko Tallqvist made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Urpo Vihermäki was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 86th minute of the match, Aarto Tikka tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Urpo Vihermäki saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Esko Tallqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urpo Vihermäki having to interfere. In the 96th play minute Esko Tallqvist came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Urpo Vihermäki. 3-5. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Singsby HF walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
