Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tommi Kuusiniemi kicked off to start the match. In the 4thth minute of the game Aarto Tikka who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ylämaa's Miko Peltola was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Miko Peltola stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Esko Tallqvist's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Paavali Saarelainen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommi Kuusiniemi in the 11th minute of the match. Tommi Kuusiniemi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Paavali Saarelainen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tommi Kuusiniemi in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paavali Saarelainen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Raimo Eloranta who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Paavali Saarelainen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Miko Peltola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aarto Tikka in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to Singsby HF getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Akseli Kouhi hit a great ball. Raimo Eloranta struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Paavali Saarelainen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ylämaa. Tommi Kuusiniemi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paavali Saarelainen having to interfere. After 33 played minutes Singsby HF got a freekick which was hit by Markus Paaso. Paavali Saarelainen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommi Kuusiniemi in the 34th minute of play. After 35 played minutes Singsby HF got a freekick which was hit by Alvar Kokkila. Raimo Eloranta struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Paavali Saarelainen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ylämaa. When Tommi Kuusiniemi came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Ylämaa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tommi Kuusiniemi couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Tommi Kuusiniemi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ylämaa's supporters rose to their feet, but Tommi Kuusiniemi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paavali Saarelainen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Aleksi Kuuri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommi Kuusiniemi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After a defensive mix-up in Singsby HF's zone, Tommi Kuusiniemi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paavali Saarelainen came out of the goal and Tommi Kuusiniemi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th minute Raimo Eloranta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paavali Saarelainen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommi Kuusiniemi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paavali Saarelainen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimo Eloranta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tommi Kuusiniemi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paavali Saarelainen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. With an all-out effort, Singsby HF's Miko Peltola threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aarto Tikka, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tommi Kuusiniemi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Paavali Saarelainen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Aleksi Kuuri fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ylämaa's protests and gave Aleksi Kuuri a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th minute, Aleksi Kuuri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute, Akseli Kouhi sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ylämaa's Miko Peltola didn't even have to move. Tommi Kuusiniemi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Paavali Saarelainen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommi Kuusiniemi, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Paavali Saarelainen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommi Kuusiniemi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ylämaa walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
