Lauri Suominen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ylermi Väänänen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esko Tallqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvar Kokkila in the 13th minute of play forced Gunners's goalkeeper Ylermi Väänänen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Lauri Suominen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lauri Suominen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Paavali Saarelainen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 21 played minutes Gunners got a freekick which was hit by Verneri Kolsi. Ylermi Väänänen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aarto Tikka in the 24th minute of the match. Lauri Suominen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valio Vikström took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ylermi Väänänen. Ylermi Väänänen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Verneri Kolsi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Paavali Saarelainen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ylermi Väänänen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esko Tallqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. When Gunners's Lauri Suominen in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Singsby HF's goalie prevented a goal. After 40 played minutes Singsby HF got a freekick which was hit by Alvar Kokkila. After a defensive mix-up in Singsby HF's zone, Taavi Kiviranta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paavali Saarelainen came out of the goal and Taavi Kiviranta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gunners's Ylermi Väänänen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esko Tallqvist in the 47th minute of play. Ylermi Väänänen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aarto Tikka in the 48th minute of play.

After 52 played minutes Gunners got a freekick which was hit by Taavi Kiviranta. Gunners's Ylermi Väänänen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Gunners from getting a goal against them. Ylermi Väänänen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aarto Tikka in the 54th minute of play. Paavali Saarelainen didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Gunners's Lauri Suominen shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Lauri Suominen put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Paavali Saarelainen. Toimi Kaitainen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. After having played for 87 minutes, Verneri Kolsi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gunners's supporters crossed their fingers, but Verneri Kolsi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Verneri Kolsi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lauri Suominen scored 4-2 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paavali Saarelainen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taavi Kiviranta in the 94th minute of play forced Singsby HF's goalkeeper Paavali Saarelainen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lauri Suominen in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paavali Saarelainen saved Singsby HF from getting behind. Lauri Suominen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paavali Saarelainen having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lauri Suominen in the 99th minute of play forced Singsby HF's goalkeeper Paavali Saarelainen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gunners walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
