Ylermi Väänänen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvo Uusiniemi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Taavi Kiviranta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Mennää FC's Alpi Pietiläinen got control of the ball when Anselmi Kokkonen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alpi Pietiläinen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lauri Suominen's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Alpi Pietiläinen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lauri Suominen in the 81st minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Tuukka Peltoniemi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alpi Pietiläinen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lauri Suominen's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Verneri Kolsi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alpi Pietiläinen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. After 89 played minutes Gunners got a freekick which was hit by August Puro. A collision led to Gunners getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Toimi Kaitainen hit a great ball. There was no doubt that Gunners were the better team. Gunners's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
