Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gunners's Ylermi Väänänen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Einari Gustafsson in the 7th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Kikkihiiri's zone, Taavi Kiviranta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aaron Konttila came out of the goal and Taavi Kiviranta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gunners's Ylermi Väänänen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Einari Gustafsson in the 20th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Kikkihiiri's zone, Lauri Suominen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aaron Konttila came out of the goal and Lauri Suominen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lauri Suominen in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aaron Konttila prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 29 minutes, Verneri Kolsi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gunners's supporters crossed their fingers, but Verneri Kolsi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 32 minutes, Ilmo Korhonen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kikkihiiri and the Gunners players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ilmo Korhonen hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Lauri Suominen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aaron Konttila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lauri Suominen in the 35th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kikkihiiri's Oskari Järvenperä got a free kick in the 36th minute. Verneri Kolsi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Aaron Konttila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Lauri Suominen made a precise shot to the right of Aaron Konttila. Kikkihiiri's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Verneri Kolsi came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Gunners fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Verneri Kolsi couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Einari Gustafsson was the one to do the kick off. Ylermi Väänänen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kalervo Junnila in the 53rd minute of the match. Lauri Suominen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Aaron Konttila skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in Kikkihiiri's zone, Toimi Kaitainen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aaron Konttila came out of the goal and Toimi Kaitainen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lauri Suominen had several of the Kikkihiiri's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 58 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Aaron Konttila as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 62nd minute Kalervo Junnila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ylermi Väänänen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Mauri Koivisto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ylermi Väänänen. Gunners's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mauri Koivisto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Aaron Konttila was a little too slow when Taavi Kiviranta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 1-3. Lauri Suominen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lauri Suominen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Aaron Konttila made a huge save. In the 83rdth minute of the game Lauri Suominen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kikkihiiri's Aaron Konttila was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 84th minute of the match Gunners got a corner. Kikkihiiri's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lauri Suominen ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Gunners's corner Salomon Salermo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aaron Konttila quite easily take care of the ball. In the 86thth minute of the game Lauri Suominen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kikkihiiri's Aaron Konttila was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gunners's Verneri Kolsi got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Aaron Konttila managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when Gunners's Lauri Suominen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gunners's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
