A collision led to JEPO ALLMIGHTY getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Elmer Selänne hit a great ball. Jarkko Teräs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jere Johansson having to interfere. Tuukka Poikolainen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute Jarkko Teräs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jere Johansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Herman Laiho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th match minute, Rattosjärvi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samu Ristolainen to maneuver through the defense. The attack was good, but when Tuukka Poikolainen in the 38th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After 40 minutes, Jarkko Teräs made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. JEPO ALLMIGHTY's Jere Johansson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Rattosjärvi's Tuukka Poikolainen got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jarkko Teräs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Jere Johansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jere Johansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tuukka Poikolainen in the 77th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Rattosjärvi's zone, Herman Laiho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urmas Vappula came out of the goal and Herman Laiho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th minute Tuukka Poikolainen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jere Johansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Rattosjärvi booed when JEPO ALLMIGHTY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elmer Selänne didn't get a good kick on the ball.
