Spectators: 7778 (Terracing: 5834, Seating: 1789, VIP seats: 155) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Juhana Berg got the match started through his kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Leipimaa's goal looked a bit too open when Roope Myötänen came free, but Ilmo Elovaara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eerikki Penttinen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juhana Berg in the 6th minute of play. Juhana Berg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Eerikki Penttinen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Leipimaa's Juhana Berg in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Billnäs's goalie prevented a goal. Jesse Lehtimäki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eerikki Penttinen having to interfere. Eerikki Penttinen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juhana Berg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leipimaa's Sylvesteri Peltomaa got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Leipimaa booed when FC Billnäs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lasse Tammisto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute of the match Hemmo Urholin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eerikki Penttinen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Eerikki Penttinen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juhana Berg's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute Sylvesteri Peltomaa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eerikki Penttinen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FC Billnäs's zone, Juhana Berg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eerikki Penttinen came out of the goal and Juhana Berg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 40 minutes, Sylvesteri Peltomaa made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC Billnäs's Eerikki Penttinen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Sylvesteri Peltomaa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leipimaa's supporters rose to their feet, but Sylvesteri Peltomaa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eerikki Penttinen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, FC Billnäs's Lasse Tammisto got a free kick in the 63rd minute. If Sylvesteri Peltomaa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Samu Huppunen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 69 minutes into the match, Leipimaa's Juhana Berg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eerikki Penttinen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A hard shot 70 in the game by Sylvesteri Peltomaa from a close distance when the talented Eerikki Penttinen managed to make a qualified save. FC Billnäs's players were relieved. Kasperi Kangaskorpi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Billnäs's Eerikki Penttinen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juhana Berg in the 76th minute of play. Sylvesteri Peltomaa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eerikki Penttinen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Sylvesteri Peltomaas short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Eerikki Penttinen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sylvesteri Peltomaa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Eerikki Penttinen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, FC Billnäs's goal looked a bit too open when Juhana Berg came free, but Eerikki Penttinen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leipimaa's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
