Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Onni Suoste charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Onni Suoste the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Tennäs FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Onni Suoste hit a great ball. When Leipimaa's Sylvesteri Peltomaa in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tennäs FC's goalie prevented a goal. 12 minutes into the match, Tennäs FC's goalkeeper Henrik Vallin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sylvesteri Peltomaa. Onni Suoste was shown his second yellow card after 15 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 16 played minutes Tennäs FC got a freekick which was hit by Onni Suoste. The long shot by Hemmo Urholin in the 16th minute really tested Henrik Vallin's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 19 minutes into the match, Juhana Berg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Henrik Vallin, 1-0. Henrik Vallin came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Leipimaa's Sylvesteri Peltomaa. But to his dismay, Sylvesteri Peltomaa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Leipimaa's Sylvesteri Peltomaa got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tennäs FC's Henrik Vallin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juhana Berg in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Samu Huppunen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henrik Vallin was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The supporters of Tennäs FC booed when Leipimaa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juhana Berg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niko Rantala struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Ilmo Elovaara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tennäs FC. In the 36th minute, Jani Loukonen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 38 in the game by Sylvesteri Peltomaa from a close distance when the talented Henrik Vallin managed to make a qualified save. Tennäs FC's players were relieved. Juhana Berg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sylvesteri Peltomaa might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Henrik Vallin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sylvesteri Peltomaa ran back to his position shaking his head. Henrik Vallin made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Sylvesteri Peltomaa sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Niko Rantala managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tennäs FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Niko Rantala was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ilmo Elovaara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juhana Berg to make the kick off. Jesse Lehtimäki hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tennäs FC's goalkeeper Henrik Vallin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Sylvesteri Peltomaa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juhana Berg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrik Vallin having to interfere. Juhana Berg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Niko Rantala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Ilmo Elovaara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jesse Lehtimäki fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leipimaa's protests and gave Jesse Lehtimäki a yellow card for diving instead. Sylvesteri Peltomaa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Henrik Vallin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sylvesteri Peltomaa struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Henrik Vallin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leipimaa. In the 84th minute Juhana Berg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrik Vallin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sylvesteri Peltomaa struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Henrik Vallin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leipimaa. If Sylvesteri Peltomaa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Leipimaa players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
