He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tennäs FC reached it. Ali Jokilahti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arvo Niemivirta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niko Rantala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Jokilahti having to interfere. Jukara IFK's Ali Jokilahti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arvo Niemivirta in the 19th minute of play. If Samuli Paananen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Tennäs FC's goalkeeper Henrik Vallin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ahto Ylönen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute Arvo Niemivirta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Jokilahti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arvo Niemivirta struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Ali Jokilahti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tennäs FC. Tennäs FC's Arvo Niemivirta got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 37th minute, Niko Rantala made a precise shot to the right of Ali Jokilahti. Jukara IFK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Samuli Paananen was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 90th minute. Jukara IFK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Ahto Ylönen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tennäs FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Jukara IFK for a fine match.
