Artturi Mäkelä tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th minute Jarkko Teräs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artturi Mäkelä saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute of the match Eero Holttinen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Artturi Mäkelä showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 12th minute Tuukka Poikolainen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artturi Mäkelä saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artturi Mäkelä showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarkko Teräs in the 14th minute of the match. After 15 played minutes legenda FC got a freekick which was hit by Martti Hassinen. Tuukka Poikolainen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jarkko Teräs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Artturi Mäkelä read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Rattosjärvi's Tuukka Poikolainen got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, Rattosjärvi's goal looked a bit too open when Aarno Haakana came free, but Urmas Vappula reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Aarno Korhonen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olavi Ruisniemi during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 27 minutes into the game, one of legenda FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Tuukka Poikolainen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artturi Mäkelä having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, legenda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martti Hassinen to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Tuukka Poikolainen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Artturi Mäkelä was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Jarkko Teräs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Lasse Naskali fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored legenda FC's protests and gave Lasse Naskali a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to legenda FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Lasse Naskali hit a great ball. When Jarkko Teräs came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Rattosjärvi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jarkko Teräs couldn't finish the play. If Jarkko Teräs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Aarno Haakana made the kick off in the second half. Jarkko Teräs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 52nd minute, Tuukka Poikolainen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Artturi Mäkelä. The goal made the score 0-1. Jarkko Teräs scored 0-2 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Artturi Mäkelä, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Urmas Vappula made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aarno Korhonen in the 62nd minute of play. If Aarno Korhonen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aarno Haakana in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Urmas Vappula saved Rattosjärvi from getting behind. After 69 played minutes Rattosjärvi got a freekick which was hit by Salomo Jokila. After recieving a nice pass, legenda FC's Olavi Ruisniemi tried to score from far away in the 70th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With a little luck, legenda FC's Artturi Mäkelä got control of the ball when Jarkko Teräs tried to sneak it across the goal line. Artturi Mäkelä showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tuukka Poikolainen, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tuukka Poikolainen in the 83rd minute of play forced legenda FC's goalkeeper Artturi Mäkelä to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the match, legenda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tuukka Poikolainen came free, but Artturi Mäkelä reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jarkko Teräs who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Artturi Mäkelä when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jarkko Teräs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Artturi Mäkelä made a huge save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Rattosjärvi had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
