Spectators: 7719 (Terracing: 5790, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 154) Tesoma FC's Santeri Huuhtanen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Santtu Koivisto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teemu Pihlajamäki in the 3rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Kaapo Kangasalusta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tikkakoski's supporters rose to their feet, but Kaapo Kangasalusta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santtu Koivisto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 10thth minute of the game Kaapo Kangasalusta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tesoma FC's Santtu Koivisto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alpo Kaipainen hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Tesoma FC's Silvo Peuhkuri tried to score from far away in the 13th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teemu Pihlajamäki in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santtu Koivisto saved Tesoma FC from getting behind. In the 23rd minute, Santeri Huuhtanen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tikkakoski's Pietari Kurri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santeri Huuhtanen in the 25th minute of play. In the 28th minute Santeri Huuhtanen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pietari Kurri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Konstantin Korkeakoski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teemu Pihlajamäki struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Santtu Koivisto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tikkakoski. In the 40th minute of the match Alpo Kaipainen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Santtu Koivisto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Tesoma FC's Topi Eskelinen got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tesoma FC's goalkeeper Santtu Koivisto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Santeri Huuhtanen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Pietari Kurri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kaapo Kangasalusta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Tikkakoski booed when Tesoma FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvo Peuhkuri didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute, Alpo Kaipainen sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tesoma FC's Santtu Koivisto didn't even have to move. 59 minutes into the game, Kaapo Kangasalusta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Santtu Koivisto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Santeri Huuhtanen might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pietari Kurri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Santeri Huuhtanen ran back to his position shaking his head. Pietari Kurri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santeri Huuhtanen, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Santeri Huuhtanen struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Pietari Kurri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tesoma FC. After 90 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tikkakoski! In the 91st minute there was a penalty for Tesoma FC. Silvo Peuhkuri stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Pietari Kurri. 1-1. Tesoma FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
