Uimaharju's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palokka FC the free kick. After 15 played minutes Uimaharju got a freekick which was hit by Pietari Santahuhta. Pekka Harju showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Topias Nurminen in the 17th minute of the match. When Topias Nurminen came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Palokka FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Topias Nurminen couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Uimaharju's Ossi Reponen got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Pekka Harju stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Konsta Holmström's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. If Konsta Holmström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Palokka FC booed when Uimaharju was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eelis Saarelainen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Uimaharju's goalkeeper Pekka Harju, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Palokka FC's goalkeeper Martti Möksy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Akseli Lamminen got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pekka Harju quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eelis Saarelainen in the 62nd minute of play forced Palokka FC's goalkeeper Martti Möksy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martti Möksy was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eelis Saarelainen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 63 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Palokka FC's Topias Nurminen got a free kick in the 67th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Eelis Saarelainen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uimaharju's supporters rose to their feet, but Eelis Saarelainen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pekka Harju was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ossi Reponen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Martti Möksy having to make a save. Eelis Saarelainen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martti Möksy having to interfere. In the 90th match minute, Uimaharju was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ossi Reponen to maneuver through the defense. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
