Spectators: 6401 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1334, VIP seats: 67) Taati FC's Jukka-Pekka Kangasalusta started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Miska Mansikkamäki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martti Möksy having to interfere. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Taati FC's goalkeeper Reima Kokkila, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Martti Möksy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jukka-Pekka Kangasalusta in the 20th minute of play. Martti Möksy came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Taati FC's Miska Mansikkamäki. But to his dismay, Miska Mansikkamäki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. A collision led to Palokka FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Miikka Kankaanperä hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the match, Palokka FC's goalkeeper Martti Möksy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miska Mansikkamäki. 34 minutes into the game, Kari Puhakainen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palokka FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Taati FC the free kick. Martti Möksy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jukka-Pekka Kangasalusta in the 37th minute of the match. Miska Mansikkamäki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jukka-Pekka Kangasalusta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miska Mansikkamäki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martti Möksy having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Topias Nurminen to strike the kick off in the second half. Jukka-Pekka Kangasalusta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martti Möksy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jukka-Pekka Kangasalusta, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Reima Kokkila was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Akseli Lamminen. 91 minutes into the game, Artturi Määttänen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Taati FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palokka FC the free kick. In the 91st minute, Artturi Määttänen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Topias Nurminen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Taati FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Palokka FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
