Spectators: 7659 (Terracing: 5793, Seating: 1776, VIP seats: 90) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kaapo Kangasalusta started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Konstantin Korkeakoski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pietari Kurri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaapo Kangasalusta in the 9th minute of play forced Tesoma FC's goalkeeper Santtu Koivisto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Tesoma FC's Santtu Koivisto got control of the ball when Teemu Pihlajamäki tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 10 minutes, Kalle Nummelin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tesoma FC and the Tikkakoski players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kaapo Kangasalusta struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Santtu Koivisto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tikkakoski. Santeri Huuhtanen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Pietari Kurri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Konstantin Korkeakoski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pietari Kurri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. If Santeri Huuhtanen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 46 minutes into the match, Tesoma FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kaapo Kangasalusta came free, but Santtu Koivisto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Santeri Huuhtanen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Teppo Pentsinen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Santtu Koivisto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Tuukka Sauso came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Tikkakoski fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tuukka Sauso couldn't finish the play. After 63 played minutes Tesoma FC got a freekick which was hit by Topi Eskelinen. Santeri Huuhtanen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Teemu Pihlajamäki came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Tikkakoski fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teemu Pihlajamäki couldn't finish the play. In the 74th match minute, Tesoma FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaj Jaakola to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute, Aaron Nurminen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes into the match, Tesoma FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teemu Pihlajamäki came free, but Santtu Koivisto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Teemu Pihlajamäki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tesoma FC's Santtu Koivisto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaapo Kangasalusta in the 87th minute of play. Pietari Kurri was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Joona Siren.
