Spectators: 6769 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 0) Fc Baljars's Ilkka Seppo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. FriPa's Taneli Ristolainen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleksanteri Riippa in the 5th minute of play. Taneli Ristolainen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilkka Seppo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in FriPa's zone, Aleksanteri Riippa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Taneli Ristolainen came out of the goal and Aleksanteri Riippa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ilkka Seppo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Taneli Ristolainen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Ilkka Seppo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Taneli Ristolainen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Taneli Ristolainen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilkka Seppo in the 23rd minute of the match. Ilkka Seppo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Taneli Ristolainen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Taneli Ristolainen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juha-Pekka Itäluoma in the 37th minute of play. After 44 played minutes FriPa got a freekick which was hit by Ville Hedberg. Aleksanteri Riippa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Taneli Ristolainen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aarni Lehkosuo to make the kick off. In the 60th minute Ilkka Seppo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taneli Ristolainen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Ilkka Seppo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Taneli Ristolainen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aleksanteri Riippa kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute. Though ot was a great shot FriPa's keeper Taneli Ristolainen was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Taneli Ristolainen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilkka Seppo in the 77th minute of the match. Fc Baljars's Aleksanteri Riippa got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aleksanteri Riippa got free with Taneli Ristolainen in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fc Baljars's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
