Spectators: 7525 (Terracing: 5650, Seating: 1770, VIP seats: 105) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Arvo Latvanen took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arvo Latvanen in the 7th minute of play forced Fc Baljars's goalkeeper Rauli Varis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Into Nyrhinen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilkka Seppo in the 11th minute of play. When Elias Rimpilä fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Black Wolves's protests and gave Elias Rimpilä a yellow card for diving instead. Aleksanteri Riippa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Into Nyrhinen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Aleksanteri Riippa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Fc Baljars's Ilkka Seppo in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Black Wolves's goalie prevented a goal. Aleksanteri Riippa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Into Nyrhinen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Fc Baljars booed when Black Wolves was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilmari Kangaskorpi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Ilkka Seppo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Into Nyrhinen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 30 minutes into the match, Fc Baljars's goal looked a bit too open when Arvo Latvanen came free, but Rauli Varis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arvo Latvanen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vesa Kuki might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rauli Varis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vesa Kuki ran back to his position shaking his head. Black Wolves's Arvo Latvanen got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Elias Rimpilä had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ilkka Seppo to make the kick off. Fc Baljars's Rauli Varis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vesa Kuki in the 53rd minute of play. Aleksanteri Riippa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Into Nyrhinen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Vesa Kuki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Rauli Varis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute Arvo Latvanen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rauli Varis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arvo Latvanen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Black Wolves's Aatu Kunnas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 64th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Fc Baljars. When Fc Baljars's Nikolai Lehkosuo in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Black Wolves's goalie prevented a goal. Rauli Varis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vesa Kuki in the 71st minute of play. Vesa Kuki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rauli Varis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arvo Latvanen in the 75th minute of play. Aleksanteri Riippa might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Into Nyrhinen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aleksanteri Riippa ran back to his position shaking his head. Vesa Kuki struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Rauli Varis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Black Wolves. 86 minutes into the match, Ilkka Seppo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Into Nyrhinen, 0-2. Juha-Pekka Itäluoma charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juha-Pekka Itäluoma the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Black Wolves booed when Fc Baljars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juha-Pekka Itäluoma didn't get a good kick on the ball. Black Wolves's Arvo Latvanen got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, Juha-Pekka Itäluoma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 1-2 became the score in the 94th minute when Arvo Latvanen elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ilmari Kangaskorpi hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. In the 100th minute of the match Fc Baljars got a corner. Black Wolves's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sauli Myllylä ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Sauli Myllylä got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Into Nyrhinen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Fc Baljars were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Black Wolves's much stronger midfield.
