BK46's supporters rose to their feet, but Eemil Sainomaa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sulho Karvonen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eemil Sainomaa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sulho Karvonen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rauno Myötänen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of BK46 booed when FC Cum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarno Piiroinen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 83 minutes, Aimo Virtanen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Cum and the BK46 players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The BK46 fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Cum had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
