But to his dismay, Esa Rajamäki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 14th minute of the match, Valentin Sjöberg got a very nice opportunity to score, but Aleksis Nylund was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 21 played minutes, Kaunaa FC's Rauli Harju shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jussi Heinikainen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kaunaa FC reached it. 22 minutes into the match, Haaga's goal looked a bit too open when Manne Ruutu came free, but Jussi Heinikainen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Valentin Sjöberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julius Timmonen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksis Nylund having to interfere. Valentin Sjöberg took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aleksis Nylund. Aleksis Nylund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. When the referee ended the match the Haaga players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
