Yrjänä Koskinen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esa Alin was a little too slow when Kauno Nikkari got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-0. After 13 played minutes Kauno Nikkari rounded EBK's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. EBK's Esa Alin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauno Nikkari in the 20th minute of play. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for EBK! The goalkeeper, Esa Alin, was totally fooled by Lasse ja Pojat's Paavali Kallio, who 30 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Esa Alin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yrjänä Koskinen in the 33rd minute. Esa Alin came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Lasse ja Pojat's Yrjänä Koskinen. But to his dismay, Yrjänä Koskinen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Kauno Nikkari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Esa Alin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kauno Nikkari to strike the kick off in the second half. Esa Alin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kauno Nikkari in the 52nd minute of play. After some careless play in the EBK defense, Oskari Kamppunen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Esa Alin. The EBK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esa Alin should have stopped the shot. When Kauno Nikkari came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Lasse ja Pojat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kauno Nikkari couldn't finish the play. EBK's Esa Alin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oskari Kamppunen in the 64th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Hemminki Hevonkorpi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Esa Alin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kauno Nikkari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. EBK's Esa Alin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauno Nikkari in the 76th minute of play. Esa Alin came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Lasse ja Pojat's Kauno Nikkari. But to his dismay, Kauno Nikkari quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Esa Alin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kauno Nikkari, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 90th match minute, EBK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Veli Helin to maneuver through the defense. 92 minutes into the match, Lasse ja Pojat's Yrjänä Koskinen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Esa Alin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kauno Nikkari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Esa Alin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Lasse ja Pojat had played much better football throughout.
