IF Kronan's Reino Nevanlinna suffered a sore foot after 67 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Kaarlo Järvenpää charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aimo Ruutu couldn't finish the play. 95 minutes into the match, IF Kronan's goal looked a bit too open when Valdemar Ramstadius came free, but Paavo Vähäsalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes into the game, Albert Pietikäinen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. IF Kronan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atleti the free kick. After a rather tough play, IF Kronan's Albert Pietikäinen got a free kick in the 96th minute. Atleti were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
