Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Reino Nevanlinna kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in IF Kronan's zone, Henri Juujärvi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paavo Vähäsalo came out of the goal and Henri Juujärvi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 4th minute, Kim Miettinen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kim Miettinen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Paavo Vähäsalo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henri Juujärvi, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henri Juujärvi in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paavo Vähäsalo saved IF Kronan from getting behind. Albert Pietikäinen kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Petri Uusiniemi was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 24th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 30th minute, Aimo Ruutu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The IF Kronan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 35 minutes of play, Puso FC's Henri Juujärvi made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paavo Vähäsalo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 39 minutes into the match, IF Kronan's goal looked a bit too open when Henri Juujärvi came free, but Paavo Vähäsalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 40 minutes, Rauno Norrena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Puso FC and the IF Kronan players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Puso FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Rauno Norrena hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Henri Juujärvi made a kick off. Aleksanteri Riippa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Einari Petriläinen having to interfere. If Kim Miettinen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paavo Vähäsalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henri Juujärvi in the 59th minute of play. After a rather tough play, IF Kronan's Eemil Haanpää got a free kick in the 59th minute. Eemil Haanpää hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After having played for 63 minutes, Kim Miettinen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Puso FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kim Miettinen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Puso FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Petri Uusiniemi hit a great ball. Kim Miettinen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Paavo Vähäsalo made a huge save. Reino Nevanlinna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Einari Petriläinen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reino Nevanlinna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Kim Miettinen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The IF Kronan fans cheered their team off the field, for while Puso FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
