In the 19th minute Päiviö Pirjetä shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aku Viitala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jarkko Tervo charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. An unexpectedly hard shot by Päiviö Pirjetä in the 43rd minute of play forced Åbo club De Futbal's goalkeeper Aku Viitala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juhapekka Jokilahti who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Aku Viitala when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tauno Kantola kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Juhapekka Jokilahti struck a weak shot in the 49th minute. Aku Viitala didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ziiga. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 61st minute, Päiviö Pirjetä got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Päiviö Pirjetä in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aku Viitala saved Åbo club De Futbal from getting behind. Aku Viitala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Päiviö Pirjetä in the 84th minute of the match. If Päiviö Pirjetä had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, Ziiga's Juhapekka Jokilahti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aku Viitala narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Päiviö Pirjetä sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ziiga had won after a very even match.
