Terho Kuparinen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Siuruanmaa IFK's goalkeeper Terho Kuparinen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Jukka Hedberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jukka Hedberg was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Siuruanmaa IFK's zone, Jukka Hedberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jukka Hedberg got free with Terho Kuparinen in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 55 played minutes Siuruanmaa IFK got a freekick which was hit by Kustaa Airisto. Iiro Raukko kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. With a little luck, Siuruanmaa IFK's Terho Kuparinen got control of the ball when Tauno Kotilahti tried to sneak it across the goal line. Terho Kuparinen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jukka Hedberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Terho Kuparinen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jukka Hedberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 78 minute of play. Tauno Kotilahti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Terho Kuparinen made a huge save. Terho Kuparinen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jukka Hedberg in the 88th minute of the match. Jukka Hedberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 93rd minute by Anselmi Kangaskorpi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Tauno Kotilahti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jukka Hedberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Terho Kuparinen having to make a save. When the final whistle sounded Vetokannaksen Veli-Kullat left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Siuruanmaa IFK.
