Spectators: 7611 (Terracing: 5810, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 20) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Päiviö Pirjetä made the kick off which started today's match. 6 minutes in the game, Atte Vihtilä fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Eerikki Nevanlinna having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Ziiga's Juhapekka Jokilahti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Antti Kärkkäinen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Juhapekka Jokilahti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Päiviö Pirjetä fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antti Kärkkäinen having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Päiviö Pirjetä notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Kulbacka FC's Antti Kärkkäinen. Antti Kärkkäinen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Armas Rauvola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eerikki Nevanlinna having to interfere. Armas Rauvola struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Eerikki Nevanlinna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kulbacka FC. If Armas Rauvola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antti Kärkkäinen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juhapekka Jokilahti in the 38th minute of play. Ziiga's Eerikki Nevanlinna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Ziiga from getting a goal against them. Kulbacka FC's Atte Vihtilä got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ziiga's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Armas Rauvola scored to the left of an out of position Eerikki Nevanlinna, making the score, 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Armas Rauvola made the kick off in the second half. Ziiga's Eerikki Nevanlinna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armas Rauvola in the 53rd minute of play. With a little luck, Kulbacka FC's Antti Kärkkäinen got control of the ball when Juhapekka Jokilahti tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 58 minutes, Juhapekka Jokilahti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ziiga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juhapekka Jokilahti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60th minute, Armas Rauvola got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eerikki Nevanlinna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armas Rauvola's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. If Atte Vihtilä had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kulbacka FC's Armas Rauvola got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Ziiga's zone, Atte Vihtilä stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eerikki Nevanlinna came out of the goal and Atte Vihtilä tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eerikki Nevanlinna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armas Rauvola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ziiga's Eerikki Nevanlinna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atte Vihtilä in the 81st minute of play. Arvo Selänne charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arvo Selänne the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arvo Selänne kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Atte Vihtilä recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
