In the 17th minute of the game Kaarlo Järvenperä made a throw-in which Risto Tuokko played forward. If Niklas Mustonen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Bayern White's Alpo Luusua got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Niklas Mustonen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Santeri Villanen made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Taivasvanne's zone, Seppo Siltanen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leif Virkkunen came out of the goal and Seppo Siltanen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paul Riksman's late challenge caught a Bayern White's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paul Riksman helped the player get up and apologised. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marko Vikström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bayern White were furious when Valtteri Leppänen was red carded, 55 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Valtteri Leppänen hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After 60 minutes, Alpo Luusua mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bayern White and the Taivasvanne players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Taivasvanne booed when Bayern White was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alpo Luusua didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute Niklas Mustonen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santeri Villanen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Seppo Siltanen hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. If Niklas Mustonen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd match minute, Taivasvanne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kuisma Seikola to maneuver through the defense. Alpo Luusua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leif Virkkunen having to interfere. 2-0 became the score in the 91st minute when Niklas Mustonen elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Bayern White's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
