Myllymetsä FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aapeli Veikkanen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nuutti Erkkilä breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nuutti Erkkilä stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aapeli Veikkanen's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. After 31 played minutes, Myllymetsä FC's Matias Eronen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nuutti Erkkilä came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Myllymetsä FC reached it. The supporters of Myllymetsä FC booed when Paalasmaa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rainer Veikkanen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th match minute, Paalasmaa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eerikki Seva to maneuver through the defense. Aapeli Veikkanen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Nuutti Erkkilä tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Mikael Kukkonen in the 59th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Myllymetsä FC's Mauno Vuorinen. The Myllymetsä FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Urpo Rajamäki should have stopped the shot. Urpo Rajamäki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heino Kousa in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pietari Lahtela in the 77th minute of play forced Myllymetsä FC's goalkeeper Urpo Rajamäki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Myllymetsä FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aapeli Veikkanen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ohto Mansikkamäki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Nuutti Erkkilä tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aapeli Veikkanen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute Heino Kousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urpo Rajamäki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aapeli Veikkanen in the 96thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal.
