In the 21st minute, Atro Eklund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Atro Eklund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vilppu Vihtilä was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. 31 minutes into the match, Atro Eklund notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Niuhala NH's Vilppu Vihtilä. Vilppu Vihtilä was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Niklas Söderström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niklas Söderström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Miko Takala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Samuli Puhakainen to make the kick off. Vilppu Vihtilä was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Samuli Puhakainen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Samuli Puhakainen really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leo Lindfors during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 63rd minute, Leo Lindfors hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mylly's Atro Eklund got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anttoni Anttila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Miko Takala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 70th play minutes Samuli Puhakainen shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Vilppu Vihtilä and just under the crossbar into goal. After 77 played minutes Niuhala NH got a freekick which was hit by Kosti Sulku. Mylly's Petri Vaakanainen got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Samuli Puhakainen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Atro Eklund got free with Vilppu Vihtilä in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anttoni Anttila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miko Takala having to interfere. Miko Takala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niklas Söderström in the 94th minute of play. Anttoni Anttila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mylly eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
