Spectators: 7445 (Terracing: 5650, Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 16) Into Hakala started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 7thth minute of the game Into Hakala who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mylly's Miko Takala was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ilari Holtti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuli Puhakainen in the 10th minute of play. Mylly's Samuli Puhakainen got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ilari Holtti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuli Puhakainen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Topias Manneroos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tuomas Koskela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atro Eklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ilari Holtti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Liharuusu's Ilari Holtti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuli Puhakainen in the 30th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Atro Eklund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ilari Holtti was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 38 minutes into the match, Mylly's goal looked a bit too open when Into Hakala came free, but Miko Takala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atro Eklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilari Holtti having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Atro Eklund got free with Ilari Holtti in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Atro Eklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Samuli Puhakainen to make the kick off. When Samuli Puhakainen came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Mylly fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuli Puhakainen couldn't finish the play. If Atro Eklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 74 minutes, Atro Eklund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mylly's supporters crossed their fingers, but Atro Eklund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tuomas Koskela kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Atro Eklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 85 played minutes Mylly got a freekick which was hit by Leo Lindfors. Sami Rinne, 86 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to Mylly getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Henrikki Vapaniemi hit a great ball. In the 89th minute Into Hakala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miko Takala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Liharuusu booed when Mylly was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sulo Valkealahti didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Liharuusu's zone, Atro Eklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ilari Holtti came out of the goal and Atro Eklund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mylly fully deserved thier win.
