In the 16th minute, Elmer Vehanen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ilmari Virta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Kari Kurttila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kari Kurttila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Tuukka Elovaara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Eero Miinalainen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Juntit FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eero Miinalainen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tuukka Elovaara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdemar Mustonen, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After a rather tough play, Juntit FC's Jukka-Pekka Toivonen got a free kick in the 44th minute. Ilmari Virta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elmer Vehanen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valdemar Mustonen to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Juntit FC got a freekick which was hit by Oiva Oravainen. Aleksi Pitkänen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tuukka Elovaara. Juntit FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elmer Vehanen got free with Ilmari Virta in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elmer Vehanen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Ilmari Virta made a huge save. Tuukka Elovaara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kari Kurttila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the match, Valdemar Mustonen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tuukka Elovaara. Juntit FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valdemar Mustonen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 72nd minute Valdemar Mustonen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tuukka Elovaara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Juntit FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Jukka-Pekka Toivonen hit a great ball. Elmer Vehanen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Ilmari Virta made a huge save. Alfred Hurme hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Elmer Vehanen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the match, Juntit FC's goal looked a bit too open when Valdemar Mustonen came free, but Tuukka Elovaara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kari Kurttila in the 92nd minute of play forced Juntit FC's goalkeeper Tuukka Elovaara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ilmari Virta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eero Miinalainen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Juntit FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
