After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Niko Pulkkinen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kannuksen ura's supporters rose to their feet, but Niko Pulkkinen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tuukka Elovaara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oiva Oravainen kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Aapeli Kaikkonen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eero Miinalainen in the 25th minute of the match. If Mika Laine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. Aapeli Kaikkonen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juntit FC. Kannuksen ura's Aapeli Kaikkonen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elmer Vehanen in the 42nd minute of play. Niko Pulkkinen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tuukka Elovaara having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Tuukka Elovaara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Juntit FC's Eero Miinalainen got a free kick in the 74th minute. The Kannuksen ura fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Herman Kärnä lost his temper 94 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave Kannuksen ura a penalty, 96 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sulevi Laiho, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Juntit FC's Tuukka Elovaara. 3-0. When the referee ended the match the Kannuksen ura players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
