Känsäkangas's Tommi Salermo got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tommi Salermo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilmari Virta having to interfere. When Toimi Saravo came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Känsäkangas fans jumped to their feet. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Valdemar Mustonen made the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the match, Kari Kurttila had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Herman Uitto. Känsäkangas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kari Kurttila was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Tommi Salermo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Känsäkangas's goalkeeper Herman Uitto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
