The attack was good, but when Anttoni Anttila in the 42nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anttoni Anttila to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Kainuunmäki IFK's zone, Anttoni Anttila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ilmari Virta came out of the goal and Anttoni Anttila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 60 minutes into the match, Kainuunmäki IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Anttoni Anttila came free, but Ilmari Virta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, Niuhala NH's Anttoni Anttila dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. The supporters of Kainuunmäki IFK booed when Niuhala NH was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilari Sorsamäki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aleksi Pitkänen shot a long shot in the 79th minute and a light blocked Vilppu Vihtilä hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 2-2. 95 minutes into the match, Niuhala NH's goal looked a bit too open when Kari Kurttila came free, but Vilppu Vihtilä reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
