Jalmari Grahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 17 minutes, Kaarle Jansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blacksmith Villagers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kaarle Jansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Voitto Lundell struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Jalmari Grahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blacksmith Villagers FC. After 26 played minutes Nilosvaara got a freekick which was hit by Seppo Hagelberg. After 33 minutes, Paavo Lepistö mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nilosvaara and the Blacksmith Villagers FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Blacksmith Villagers FC booed when Nilosvaara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paavo Lepistö didn't get a good kick on the ball. Voitto Lundell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jalmari Grahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Ari Eloranta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Topi Sainomaa having to interfere. Topi Sainomaa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Seppo Hagelberg in the 77th minute of play. Ari Eloranta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 86th minute, Ari Eloranta made a precise shot to the right of Topi Sainomaa. Blacksmith Villagers FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After 93 played minutes Nilosvaara got a freekick which was hit by Paavo Lepistö. The Blacksmith Villagers FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
